Scout Crafts: Popcorn Centerpiece

Supplies:

  • Popcorn
  • Tall clear vase
  • Dowel rods
  • Tape or glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Cardstock
  • Scouting magazine template

Directions:

First, print out your designs on sturdy paper. You can find logos for programs to download at BSA’s Brand Center.

Here are a few template backgrounds we created, or you can use colored paper: Centerpiece_backgrounds

You can print, cut out and place the logos (or even photos of your Scout) on the backgrounds.

Next, use your glue stick to attach the designs to colored backings. Glue or double-sided tape can also work.

Place one of your designs face-side down and place a dowel rod on top of it.

Apply some glue and press another design on top. Now you have a design on both sides.

Next, pop some popcorn!

Fill up your vase with popcorn and slide the dowel rods in.
